Roy Orbison (April 23, 1936 – December 6, 1988) had the greatest voice EVER. This is the opinion of EAR FARM yet it is also surely FACT. Elvis Presley called Orbison "the greatest singer in the world" (from onstage in Las Vegas in 1976), and Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees referred to him as the "Voice of God."
On this day in 1988 he suffered a heart attack and died just before midnight at the age of 52.
Here are EAR FARM's three favorite Roy Orbison songs (found here):
"Blue Bayou"
"Dream Baby (How Long Must I Dream)"
"Mean Woman Blues"
