Here's a rundown of the different series, features, and lingo you will find on EAR FARM. Click on the hotlinked word for an example.
8+ - a weekly feature that showcases songs longer than 8 minutes and is posted on Thursdays.
Don't You (Forget About Me) - monthly update showing the bands that EAR FARM has featured.
EAR FARM's (insert month) mixtape - end of month feature of songs by artists that EF has featured that month. Suggested use is to listen to the whole thing as a mix.
EF - abbreviated form of EAR FARM.
The Goonies - long been one of my favorite movies and the quote you'll find in the top right under the "About Me" heading is one of the best parts of the film.
I Want My MTV - a series of EF posts dedicated to bringing music videos back from the dead. EAR FARM misses the old MTV and the music video as a primary means of hearing new music.
OPP - Other Peoples' Posts. Used to signify that EF is giving you some links to noteworthy posts from other music blogs.
snip·pets - interesting music news presented as a headline that hotlinks to the full story.stuff that looks like this - these are songs no longer being hosted on EF. Generally, songs that are posted will be available for two or three weeks.
Weekend Live Music - a weekly feature posted every Saturday where you'll find some live music to download.
