I'll be going out of town, thus you'll get your EAR FARM Weekend Live Music fix a day early this week. Also, this means I won't be able to go to any of these excellent shows. Doesn't mean you have to miss out. Here's a rundown of the bands I'm familiar with who are playing this weekend (in New York City) and are well worth checking out.
Friday March 24th
- Mancino (and others) at Sin-é
- Goes Cube (and others) play Oh My Rockness' March Radness Party at Brooklyn Lyceum
- Ray Davies is playing Irving Plaza
- Nicole Atkins & The Sea (and others) at Warsaw
- the 303s are playing Pianos (upstairs)
- Ray Davies is playing Irving Plaza
- Animal Collective at Bowery Ballroom
- Direct from Hollywood Cemetery (and others) at Cake Shop
- Kelley Stoltz (and others) at Mercury Lounge

well...not this weekend, but Monday, or Wednesday, aren't you going to see Th' Faith Healers? (you lucky NYC bastards get two separate shows, while we in Boston only got one. Well,...we're better off than the Left Coast, to be sure)
Cheeers,
Jake
