Man in Gray

I could go on with my own version of why you should check out Brooklyn's Man in Gray. How, if you like Sonic Youth and/or Sleater-Kinney, you might want to listen to these songs of theirs. But I prefer the description from their MySpace page:

"One pretty guitar with a fair share of wah, one ugly guitar with more than a smattering of skronk, one punk pedigree bass and one jackhammer drummer. Screaming and whispers from Tina, born a star. Songs about shock, awe and why Feb 14th is dumb. A little dancey, a little trashy, yet somehow always classy."

Wicked. Let's listen, shall we?

"Brakelights"
"Incommunicado"

You can buy their music HERE or HERE.

UPDATE (13 December) - just got a note from the band that they have a fresh, NEW WEBSITE and some demos from the new album you can listen to by going HERE and scrolling all the way down. is it me or do these guys REALLY need to play a daytime set at next year's Siren Festival?
