Ever since I first started listening to Billy Bragg, with his 'one man and a guitar' classic record Back to Basics, I've wanted to see a show where it's just that: him and his guitar. Up to this point, each Billy Bragg concert I've attended has been Billy with his mates; however, 'one man and a guitar' is precisely what the SESAC Day Stage Cafe show was. Just Billy and a guitar and about six songs; with, of course, his trademark between-song banter. My favorite bit was the story he told right before playing the last song "The Old Clash Fan's Fight Song". Classic. I'd see him 100 more times this weekend if I could. Check out more pics as well as live video/mp3 after the jump.
