I almost believe that having so many shows booked at SXSW worked against Evangelicals in a sense. At least for me, with so many opportunities to see them I kept putting it off until freaking out and realizing that I may had missed them altogether. Luckily, they stopped by Emo's Annex on Friday afternoon for their last SXSW show and rocked a handful of blissed-out reverb-heavy tracks from The Evening Descends.
Since we last saw them at Mercury a few years back, singer/guitarist Josh Jones has really stepped up and emerged as a charismatic and engaging front-man. Check out the dance moves in the pics below after the jump...
