"New" Radiohead demos surface

NME reports:
Several previously unreleased Radiohead demos have surfaced online.
The tracks have been circulated on a Radiohead fan site ateaseweb.com.

The first demo dates from 1988 when the band were still called On A Friday, and includes the songs 'Happy Song', 'To Be A Brilliant Light' and 'Sinking Ship'.
The second demo is believed to have been recorded in the summer of 1990, when the band had changed their name to Shindig.

So, I went to the site they mentioned and grabbed 14 of these demos. Cool to have, not sure if these have been around online for a few years or if it's really worth a whole lot of time unless you're Radiohead crazy. Here's three of them:

Do you think they were influenced by the Stones at all???

Cool tracks although I am glad they have decided to move away from this sort of stuff. Cool to have though.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction. And congrats on NC State winning their bowl game. My beloved Gators won theirs as well. - State's looking good in b-ball too. Have a great new year.

good find - thanks for the mp3s.
i wouldn't mind hearing them mix it up with straight forward rock every now and then.
their diversity is their greatest gift.
peace
